Fitness for Duty
Staff assess their sleep, alcohol and drugs, and health before they start. Supervisors assess what they can see, with a drug and alcohol test step. A concern means no work until a supervisor clears it.
How it works
Self-assessment
Before starting, staff answer questions about their sleep, alcohol and drugs, and health, on their own phone.
Supervisor assessment
A supervisor can assess what they see, with a drug and alcohol test step when it's needed.
A concern stops work
Any concern means no work until a supervisor has spoken to the person and cleared them, with the outcome on record.
What you get
- A self-assessment and a supervisor assessment, each with its own questions
- A drug and alcohol test step in the supervisor assessment
- The supervisor is told about every concern straight away
- A daily reminder on each person's home screen until it's done
- A Workforce view of who has completed it today
- Every assessment signed, time-stamped and kept
Who uses it
Every worker completes the self-assessment. Supervisors, managers and admins complete supervisor assessments and follow up concerns.

More in checks and assessments
Prestart Check
Check a vehicle or machine item by item: OK, fail or N/A, with photos. A fail goes straight to the supervisor, can take the asset out of service, and stays open until it's fixed.
Fatigue Self-Assessment
A quick, private check of how tired you are before you get behind the wheel.
Fault Reporting
Scan the asset, describe the fault, add photos and mark it out of service if it's unsafe. The workshop gets a job number by email, and the person who reported it hears when it's fixed.
Electronic Tag-Out
Tag out unsafe plant and equipment on the spot from its QR code. The tag shows who placed it and why, the asset can't be used while it's tagged, and only an authorised person can remove it.
Plant Risk Assessment
Score each hazard on a piece of plant. The asset is flagged a week before its assessment expires, and again once it has.
See it running on your own sites
We'll set up a demo with your sites, your assets and the modules you need, then walk your supervisors through it.
