LOGFYX

Every link in the chain, on record.

Prestarts, fitness for duty, fatigue and load checks for heavy vehicle operators, with every record ready for a Chain of Responsibility audit.

Chain of Responsibility, without the paperwork.

Under the Heavy Vehicle National Law, everyone in the chain has a duty: operators, schedulers, loaders, consignors and receivers, not just the driver. When something goes wrong, the question is what each party did to prevent it, and whether they can prove it.

Paper prestarts, run sheets and gate declarations get lost, filled in after the fact or never looked at. A fault on a trailer or a driver short on sleep can slip through between the yard and the road.

LOGFYX gives each party in the chain the checks for their part, on the phone they already carry. Every record is signed, time-stamped and kept, so you can show what was checked, by whom and when.

Across your operation

Switch on the modules each part of your business needs. Drivers, schedulers and yard staff only see the ones they use.

Drivers and vehicles

Vehicles checked before they move, and drivers fit to drive them.

  • Prestarts on every prime mover and trailer from its QR code, with photos of anything that fails
  • A failed item can take the vehicle out of service until it’s fixed
  • Fitness for duty and fatigue self-assessments before the first trip
  • Trips logged with odometer readings, and a warning if there’s been no prestart in the last 24 hours

Scheduling and fatigue

Trips planned within work and rest limits, and agreed with the people doing the driving.

  • Safe driving plans with each leg’s working and rest time
  • Sent to the transport company to accept or return, with no login needed
  • Rest breaks on site recorded with a running clock
  • A stand-down certificate the driver can show NHVR or Police

Depots and the gate

Every truck in and out cleared the same way, and faults fixed fast.

  • Safety declarations on arrival and departure: hours, mass, induction, load restraint and dangerous goods
  • Signed by the driver, and kept for audit
  • Faults sent to the workshop as numbered jobs, with photos
  • Notices to every depot, with a record of who has read them

  1. 05:30

    Fitness for Duty

Driver signs on fit for duty

A quick self-assessment before the first trip. A concern goes to the supervisor before the truck moves.

  2. 05:40

    Prestart Check

    Prime mover and trailer checked

Every item OK, fail or N/A, with photos. A fail goes straight to the supervisor.

  3. 06:10

    Vehicle Weight Declaration

    Load weighed and declared

Declared weights, the weighbridge docket photo and the mass limit scheme, before the truck leaves.

  4. 06:30

    Vehicle Logbook

Trip started from the QR code

Odometer and destination recorded, with a warning if the vehicle’s prestart is missing.

  5. 11:15

    Safety Declaration

    Cleared at the customer’s gate

Hours, mass, induction, load restraint and dangerous goods, signed by the driver.

  6. 14:00

    Fatigue Stand-Down

    A rest break on record

Recorded on site with a running clock. The driver leaves with a certificate NHVR or Police can verify.

Prestart Check

Check a vehicle or machine item by item: OK, fail or N/A, with photos. A fail goes straight to the supervisor, can take the asset out of service, and stays open until it's fixed.

Fitness for Duty

Staff assess their sleep, alcohol and drugs, and health before they start. Supervisors assess what they can see, with a drug and alcohol test step. A concern means no work until a supervisor clears it.

Fatigue Stand-Down

Record a driver's rest break on site with a running clock. They leave with a certificate that NHVR or Police can verify.

Safety Declaration

Clear every arriving and departing truck through the same questions: hours, mass, induction, load restraint and dangerous goods, signed by the driver.

Vehicle Weight Declaration

Record the driver's declared weights, a photo of the weighbridge docket and the mass limit scheme (GML, HML or NHVAS). Tare plus load can't go over GVM.

Safe Driving Plan

Plan each leg of a trip with working and rest time, and send it to the transport company. They accept it or send it back with a signature, with no login, and you're reminded before it's due for review.

Vehicle Logbook

Start and end each trip from the vehicle's QR code, with odometer readings and where it's going. It warns you if the vehicle hasn't had a prestart in the last 24 hours.

Load Restraint

Work out how many straps a load needs before it leaves the yard, from the NTC Load Restraint Guide's reference table.

Fault Reporting

Scan the asset, describe the fault, add photos and mark it out of service if it's unsafe. The workshop gets a job number by email, and the person who reported it hears when it's fixed.

See it running in your yard

We’ll set up a demo with your depots, vehicles and the modules you need, then walk your supervisors and drivers through it.
